Amiee Cambridge in Step Daughter Has Problems Vol 2 (Part 1)

Amiee Cambridge comes to step-mom Melanie Hicks with problems that apparently require immediate and very specific attention. Part 1 establishes that whatever's bothering Amiee won't be solved with conventional advice or a trip to the mall. Melanie listens to Amiee's concerns with the kind of focus that suggests she knows exactly where this conversation is heading and has no objections to the destination. When Amiee explains what she needs, Melanie doesn't suggest calling a counselor—she suggests they handle it right now, together, without any unnecessary complications like clothes or boundaries. What follows is 15 minutes of step-mother and step-daughter tackling Amiee's issues head-on, or more accurately, hands-on. Melanie guides Amiee through various solutions, each one more intimate than the last. They explore different approaches with the thoroughness of people who want to make sure the problem is completely resolved, trying multiple positions and techniques to see what works best. Amiee proves to be an eager student, following Melanie's lead while also contributing her own ideas about what might help. The dynamic shifts between Melanie taking charge and Amiee asserting herself, creating a back-and-forth that keeps both women engaged. Their chemistry suggests this isn't the first time they've had this particular kind of problem-solving session. The scene ends with Amiee feeling better, though viewers can probably guess that her problems will resurface soon enough—conveniently leading to Parts 2 and 3. Featuring Amiee Cambridge and Melanie Hicks in a TabooHeat production that redefines "family counseling" and proves that some step-moms take their supportive role very, very seriously.
