The scene opens outside a sleek modern ad agency, where Rachel (Korra Del Rio) shows up with a boutique bag swinging on her arm. She loves seeing her husband Dwight's DD initials on the sign and traces the etching with a satisfied smile before strolling inside. At the desk she tells the receptionist she wanted to surprise her hubby with a lunch date, only to learn Dwight is stuck on a conference call. No problem — Rachel settles into the lobby to wait. Enter Connor (Pierce Paris), a low-level account manager back from lunch, who spots Rachel and completely loses the plot. His eyes wander over her legs, her fingers, her lips, her cleavage, and suddenly the receptionist's words turn to background noise. Smitten and doing a bad job of hiding it, he loiters at the desk before working up the nerve to make some clumsy small talk. They've crossed paths before, but Rachel doesn't remember him — she just smiles politely. Connor, convinced she does, keeps chatting himself into trouble. When Rachel mentions Dwight's shiny new spinoff agency, Connor plays it cool while his brain does overtime. He knows for a fact the other partners would never sign off on teaming up with that hated competitor. This has to be Dwight's private little side project. Connor grins on the outside while quietly boiling over on the inside, wheels turning as he figures out how to get ahead. The setup is pure office-drama slow burn before things heat up, and once the ambition turns physical, Connor and Korra put on a hands-on performance.
