Codey Steele's dying wish: Vanna Bardot on his bucket list

The scene opens on a bathroom counter crowded with pill bottles. A man coughs off-camera, and a hand reaches in to grab one. Meet Gary (Codey Steele), pale and worn as he studies himself in the mirror. He slams the bottle down, gulps water straight from the tap, takes a deep breath, and the coughing finally stops. Then he walks out. Gary opens a drawer full of odd, unsettling little keepsakes. He adds one more item, then scribbles something on a mysterious slip of paper. Just then the front door opens and a woman's voice calls out, 'Gary?' He glances back at the drawer, breathes deep, and slides it shut. 'I'm in here,' he answers. The visitor is Melissa (Vanna Bardot), his best friend, stopping by to check on him. Gary is terminally ill and running low on time. Then he lays out the real reason he called: he's got a bucket list, and Melissa is one of the boxes he wants to tick. She's shaken and moves to leave, but when Gary hints at the darker things already crossed off, she stays and agrees. Vanna and Codey turn this tense setup into a rough, breathless encounter, and nothing is going to stop Gary from checking this one off for good.
