The scene opens on the quiet patio of a café, where Becca (Whitney Wright), a shy college student, sits alone with a book. Her friend shows up with two coffees, and the two hug before settling in to catch up about life and next semester's plans. Mid-sip, Becca's phone buzzes — a dating app has found her a new match. She blushes, but her friend nudges her to swipe and take a look. Becca did say she wanted to get back out there after her breakup, right?
