India Summer catches stepson Dustin Daring cheating

The scene opens inside a car, where devoted husband Joe has pulled over and clicked on his blinkers. He rests his arm on the window frame, wedding ring catching the light, and glances lovingly at his wife in the passenger seat. Vanessa (India Summer) has flipped down the visor and is touching up her makeup in the little mirror, but she throws him a warm smile when he looks her way. Joe offers to drive her the rest of the way — he really doesn't mind. 'Oh no, honey! That's so sweet, but you've got so much work to do. I'll be fine, it's just a few blocks from here.' She keeps fussing with her hair until it sits just right. She's not sure how long her 'meeting' will run, so she tells him not to wait up. He should head out and have some fun with the boys. Joe looks let down and reminds her that his son Danny is coming for dinner. Vanessa gasps — she can't believe she's about to miss Danny again! Joe sighs and says it's okay, she'll catch him next time. He leans in for a kiss and wishes her luck, but she slips out of the car without so much as a peck. From a wide angle outside the passenger door, we watch Vanessa step out and close it behind her. Cool and purposeful, she walks slowly toward the camera as the car pulls away. She glances back once, then forward again, a sly smile playing on her lips. As she gets closer, we clearly see her hold up her hand and quietly slide the wedding ring off her finger. So much for that 'business meeting.' Vanessa arrives at a house, rings the bell, and a young man (Dustin Daring) answers the door. What follows is a classic case of a wife who's better at slipping out of vows than her husband ever suspects — and Dustin is more than happy to help her play hooky. India Summer plays the straying wife to perfection, all knowing looks and practiced excuses, while Dustin proves the eager stepson type who won't say no. It's a game of cat and mouse where everybody wins except poor Joe waiting back home. Ring off, guard down, and the afternoon wide open — Vanessa knows exactly what she came for.
