Playmate Nicole Wood knows what she wants, and she's not afraid to get it. All natural, with a wild mane of blonde hair, she's the subject of many a man's fantasy - but since becoming our Miss April 1993, she's living out her own deepest fantasies. "I've been too busy to blush," says Nicole, referring to her turn as a Playmate. "Everything's going my way lately!" Born in Canton, Ohio, Nicole worked her way through the ranks of the modeling world, and was even a finalist in the Miss Teen New Jersey pageant. More than 70 pageants and beauty contest later, Nicole won the grand prize: a trip to Chicago and a Playboy test shoot. "I'm eager and ambitious, so whatever I can get out of life, I'm going to get," she says excitedly. "Posing for those pictures, I was shy at first, but everyone was so supportive that I relaxed and had fun!" Between autograph signings and Playboy promotional appearances, Nicole worked on TV's Comedy Central, and we think it's safe to say that this Ohio native got whatever it was she wanted. In her original Playmate File, she professed a love for cowboys and all things Western, and said that her ideal man was quiet, rugged and wore jeans. "On my dream date, we'd fly to the Grand Canyon" she says. "I want to be a successful model and actress, invest my money wisely and come home to my husband and family."
