Brooke Richards will warm your heart. Born in small-town Pennsylvania and raised in South Carolina, the sometimes-blonde, sometimes-brunette has always been the center of attention, even with thirteen brothers and sisters. "A big family seemed normal to me," she says. "My mom stayed home to raise us. As the baby, I got a lot of attention - and I developed really young." Voted most likely to appear in Vogue by her graduating class, Brooke spent no time pursuing a modeling career - after becoming Miss Hawaiian Tropic International, she landed in our Girls of Hawaiian Tropic pictorial, not to mention the cover of the July 1999 issue of Playboy. Less than six months later, Brooke was our Miss December, the final Playmate of the twentieth century. "It's an honor," she says happily. "I wanted to appear in the December issue, because when it's cold and you're naked, well, there's something very sexy about that."
