Held Accountable

Shawn Alff has admitted that he's desperately in love with his accountant, Ryan Keely. He's claimed that he can't stop thinking of her and knows that she wants him, too, but there's a problem: they're NOT related! On this day, Shawn and Ryan pored over a family tree chart she made, searching for a connection that would make them related. 'She even went back four generations!' Shawn said. Although they found evidence of a pair of their relatives liking each other, they never married, so, sadly, Ryan's not even his STEP-accountant. No matter how much they want each other, the only thing that binds them together is taxes. But Shawn was willing to do ANYTHING to make what they had between them taboo. Maybe she could coerce him into having sex by saying that he'd be audited if he didn't? But, no, Ryan was too ethical for that, knowing it'd undermine the love and trust of those closest to them. Besides, while it was taboo, it wasn't PURE taboo... 'But you ARE being audited,' Ryan had warned Shawn. 'Don't worry, my step-brother works for the IRS, and I know JUST what to do to make this ALL go away...' Shawn said that there was no mistaking the lust in Ryan's eyes. In that moment, he knew that what he thought they could've had was lost forever. A completely unrelated man like him could NEVER compete against a step-brother.
