Dalton examines Joseph, being very sympathetic and kind as he does so. The examination includes checking Joseph's temperature, using a stethoscope to listen to his breathing, and checking his pulse. Dalton remarks that Joseph is in good shape... GREAT shape, even... and asks if he works out. Joseph is flattered and confirms that he does weightlifting, admitting that's actually how he got his hernia. Dalton says that although Joseph has a VERY impressive body, it's important that he doesn't push himself too far - he needs to watch his form and be more careful in the future. Joseph mentions that his boyfriend, Brandon Anderson, is always scolding him to be more careful, too. Dalton gets back to examining Joseph, although now his hands and eyes linger a little longer around the groin area. Joseph is turned on, and says that Dalton can inspect him more thoroughly down there if he wants. Dalton is tempted, but asks Joseph if he's sure that he wants to take things in that direction when he already has a boyfriend. Joseph admits that Brandon hasn't been very sympathetic about Joseph's injury - Brandon has been constantly saying it's Joseph's fault for overdoing it, and complaining about what an extra burden this situation has been. In other words, Brandon hasn't been AT ALL like Dalton, who's being so kind and attentive. Dalton says he's happy to be MORE attentive to Joseph - whatever he needs. Dalton and Joseph start to have foreplay and sex. Suddenly, they hear Brandon's voice calling out that he's home. Joseph quickly lies down on his stomach, while Dalton pulls a blanket over them, covering himself and also covering Joseph's lower half to hide their nude bodies. Brandon comes into the room, immediately complaining about what an awful day he had at work, and not even asking Joseph how he's feeling. Under the blanket, Dalton rolls his eyes at Brandon's self-centered behavior.
